I got a haircut recently... when the barber asked what I wanted, I said: "Imagine Norman Rockwell listens to New Wave."

So... I had this idea for an iPhone application when they first came out - it was called PleasurePooper.com - it was basically a way for people to rate public bathrooms. Well, anyways, I told my then girlfriend about it. Almost a year passes, and we've broken up. She tells me about a party she went to where she met Larry David - the creator of Seinfeld. She knows he's one of my idols, and tells me about the conversation they had, and how he reminded her of me(!).

So... fast forward a couple months: my friend Dave calls me up, and says "LARRY DAVID STOLE YOUR POOPER IDEA!" ... apparently, in the finale episode of Curb your Enthusiasm, they have a Seinfeld reunion, and the plot revolves around George Castanza's newest hair-brained scheme - iToilet.

Of course I emailed her and demanded to know if she told him about my idea. She denied it, of course.

Family comes first, then friends, then you ;) I love going out for random drives to the beach and just sitting and relaxing with the sunset.

As I go through life, my perspective changes and my actions change accordingly.

Since life has so much to offer, I'm at the stage where I'm exploring outdoor activities and things related to physical fitness. The photos of skydiving and whitewater rafting show the latest samples of my adrenaline rush. I'm also seeking adventure in social events new to me. For example, during the summer my daughter and I spent the night at the Electric Daisy Carnival or what the kids called the rave. Discovering the local jazz club has enlightened me to different music scene.

As a professional who worked in the technical field for many years, I feel very comfortable in my career. What's left of my time, I spend with my adorable teenager.

I do believe in physical attraction and that the initial spark is essential. Physical fitness has been on my agenda for a while now. With regular gym classes and sessions with my personal trainer, I stay in good shape and take good care of myself.

I'm a joker and I love to laugh. I'm the kind of guy who tries to hard to find the humor in every day life. A perfect match would be someone who can brighten me up on a rough day, and someone who needs a good laugh when they're having a rough time of it. You can replace laugh with romance interchangeably.

In romance, I'm still learning a lot about myself and what my heart truly craves. I'm a bit of a stubborn person, and I'm sure that attributes itself to why I'm still single at this day and age. I'm definitely a health nut. While I am recovering from a nasty ankle injury, I love running and yoga, as previously mentioned, and I'm very careful about what I eat. I read labels religiously, and enjoy healthy food far more than what is reasonable. I live alone. I have my own home that I share with my fat little dog. I'm a bit of a neat freak. I'm constantly cleaning my house. I like to exercise, but like food very much. I'm in pretty good shape. I'd like to get ripped but I don't see that happening with the way I eat. I love basketball. I play pick up games, weekly with my friends and try to watch every Lakers game. I'm pretty outgoing but unsure of myself in unfamiliar environments like most places to meet single women my age. I'm not much of a bar/club person - I've probably been to less than 5 in my life unless you count Dave & Busters or TGIFridays. I'm very mature for my age, I graduated from high school when I was 16 and at 18 moved to college in Japan for a little while then moved back to graduate from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a BBA in Marketing.
I'm a pretty easy going person as long as the person I'm dating keeps their promises, doesn't lie, doesn't cheat, makes an effort doing whatever it is they are doing and is sometimes romantic.
I'm Japanese, Chinese, Hawaiian, people can't really tell what I am when they meet me, so after I tell them I get the 'you look Hawaiian' which I really don't. I look like all the other Hawaii born girls.

The beauty of the Internet is that it allows people to express themselves without the fear of feeling judged, at least most of the time. Another advantage is that the Internet also allows a person to be completely honest and upfront. For me I find this liberating.

What to say about myself...

I'm a rare 1.5 generation. Meaning I was born somewhere outside of the US but Grew Up most of my life in CA. Went to college in the Eastcoast for 4 years. I'm fluent in English and Japanese reading, writing, and speaking (somewhat).

Interests. I enjoy going out and hanging with my friends. We'll usually go anywhere from coffee shops to bars, movies at a theater to DVDs at home, Restaurants to cooking at home. I definitly enjoy going to sports games when I get the chance, and I do enjoy going to concerts/musicals as well.

Sports: I play basketball during the weekends. Golf Occasionally.

Traveling: I do travel often, but they're mostly business trips, so I can't say if that's considered traveling haha. I do try and make the most out of my trips wherever I may go.

Music: I pretty much enjoy every genre. Don't really have an exact favorite but I have been listening to more Asian musicians lately. Not too much pop but I'd call it easy listening

Entertainment: Recently purchased a Wii so definitly enjoying that with my family and friends. I do read some books once in a while. It's a mixture of Japanese and American Books.

Eating: Definitly like to go out and try new things or new places with friends. I rarely go out and explore on my own unless it's out of town or I have a craving.

I strive to keep moving everyday, whether it's on my bike or performing burlesque, I am in constant motion so I can take in my fill of life. I always have a few irons in the fire, and none of them involve watching the Bachelor or Dancing with the Stars.

I'm a social creature, being around people energizes me, as does intelligent conversation with a good dose of sarcasm. I don't believe everything is sunshine and rainbows, but I do believe that one lives their life exactly the way they want it.
